About us

Tabit Films is a production company created by actors and writers Anna Elena Pepe and Marco Gambino to turn their ideas into reality. Tabit is the name of a star in the constellation of Orion, and in Aramaic it means “the one who resists”.
Anna Elena and Marco's journey begins with the pilot of the TV series Totò and Daiana - football, coffee and fish & chips, their first idea, which successfully lands, first in the international festival circuit (Roma Web Fest, Sicily Web Fest, Molisecinema, Miami Web Fest, Apulia Web Fest, Caorle Web Fest), then to the cinema in the UCI Cinema circuits and finally on Sky TV.
In 2021 they produce other episodes of the series, which the wins the Digital Web Fest in Rome as Best Comedy Story and is currently on the festival circuit. Moreover, the series becomes an Amazon TV series for Italy in April 2022.
The TVseries is joined by two other projects: “Agata” (short film written and directed by Anna Elena Pepe, shot in Emilia Romagna and currently in post-production), and “Talia” (Marco Gambino's first feature film, currently in development).
Tabit wants to tell stories that were not represented before and which often get stuck in the complex mechanism of the “classic” production system. Over the years, the company has established a series of collaborations with young creatives and other productions, to continue to create innovative content.
